We decided to go to Guanajuato this weekend (the daycare is closed so we don’t have to work) cause there’s a festval here. It’s the capital of the state of Guanajuato and the name comes from some old indian name for “Hill of Frogs”. :) It’s a really cute city, lots of narrow streets and houses painted in all possible colours.

Hey everybody,
recently we’ve been having problems uploading the photos. The internet here is really slow and today it took 2 hours just to upload 4 photos. I hope we can upload them as soon as possible because we’ve got a lot already and can’t show you any. Be patient, we love you =)

Hola ;) So off from Chiapas to Villahermosa. We went with a second-class bus. It was kinda funny – some of the seats were missing and some of them were put together by parts of 2 different seats. Hehe
In the last weeks it was raining heavily around Villahermosa so many places were flooded. A guy on the bus told us that in Villa they expect some more heavy rain in the following days so when we arrived the city looked a bit chaotic. All the people going somewhere and sandbags around shops and everywhere. (And it seemed like we were the only ones coming to the city).
We couldn’t find a hostel at first so we checked out a hotel and paid like 150 pesos for a room with a shower + toilet. AND the view was the best so far!! (see the pic)
The next day we went to the centre and saw no other tourists (a bit weird with everyone staring at us). The city itself wasn’t anything special, we met a couchsurfer though and went out for lunch. It was soooooooooooooo good! (just like every other food here)
Now we’re in Puebla! We arrived at 5 in the morning and it was sooo cold! The first time we have to wear long sleeved shirts (haha probably you’re freezing at home!). At 9 we saw a guy wearing a ballerina costume dancing in the main square. I guess we like Puebla already!! :) And we’re probably staying another day or two :)

Heyeyey!
We’re in Palenqe, Chiapas. Yesterday in the morning we took a bus from Campeche (6 boring hours). Well all wasn’t that simple. We went to the bus station in the morning and wanted to buy the tickets to Palenque. We had asked at the counter the day before when the bus leaves. So we showed up half an hour before departure. When we wanted to buy the tickets the lady at the counter says well … the bus leaves from another station. Which is on the other side of the city. Em?! Why couldn’t they tell us yesteday?? At that time we had like 15min to get there (sounds familiar?:)). So we were trying to call a cab but had no luck for about 5min (and I won’t even mention it was soooo hot and we’re standing there in the sun). In the end we were lucky – we caught the bus (well we wouldn’t have if the bus had left on time).
